Pros

I was able to telecommute.

Cons

SAIC went downhill when Dr. Beyster was replaced by Ken Dahlberg. The company went from employee owned to a publicly traded chop shop. The CEO and Board of Directors do not care about the employees.

Pros

Slightly better than being unemployed.

Cons

Worst health insurance plan I have ever seen. Frequent layoffs due to expiring contracts. Pay raises are rare and extremely small. Very low moral at nearly all locations.

Pros

It is a very large company with lots of different areas of interest that one can possibly use for lateral career choices. Large collection of technical online resources usable by employees.

Cons

Has become too large to stay properly connected with the workers. Inconsistent treatment across business units. Not family friendly but very politically correct. Unappreciated and unnecessarily rampant low morale.
