      Pros

      Concur's business model is rock solid and we are always working hard to help business traveler's realize "the perfect trip". There is no viable competition that I can see other than "the ideal" and that is what we are constantly striving for in our everyday work. Concur is already the market leader in this space but we strive to have every business trip in the world booked through our tools and every expense report in the world to also be processed using our tools. The people I interviewed with and work with are fantastic. They are very supportive and understand that the learning curve is steep - especially for someone who completed changed industries like I did. Concur's new Bellevue, WA HQ is beautiful and the systems we have in place are world-class. You don't have to worry about things working because they just do. It's all cutting-edge. The leadership team has amazing vision and passion for the company they founded 20 years ago. It's amazing and indicative to me that the three founders still work here. I wish I would have joined 20 years ago!!!

      Cons

      *Not a lot of direction - you have to make your own path. This might not be a "con" though.

      Pros

      I get to work remotely every day. My work hours are whatever they need to be as long as I get my work done. I have a wonderful work/life balance. The benefits are very good. Management seems to be fairly transparent and communicative. They really respect their employees and trust them. My coworkers are all very hard working and would walk on coals for me or anyone else on the team. There are many opportunities within the company to move to other departments and learn new things.

      None that I can really think of.

      Concur Has Potential

      Pros

      - The company's stock seems to be doing pretty well - Work/Life balance was pretty reasonable - It's obvious that the company's mission is to create the best product for customers as possible.

      Cons

      - I worked for Tripit - Concur's corporate culture is smothering the young company and and ruining the creative environment. - I worked in advertising - the woman in charge of the team is smart enough to be a middle manager but shouldn't be working directly with a team. She does not support the team in an effective way, bullied a number of people until they quit in order to get them out in a very unethical manner, doesn't have a full understanding of the work her employees do, has successfully angered most of the the Tripit team in SF and has created an environment w/in the team where people deal with her instead of respect her. I would strongly recommend not working on the ad sales team at Tripit.
