stability in an unstable economy

the workplace climate has proven to be detrimental to employee well-being, particularly in my case. since onboarding, i have been subject to consistent harassment by a single colleague. this behavior has been documented and reported on multiple occasions, yet remains unaddressed by hr. a culture of fear appears to prevent team members from offering support, as this individual has a history of retaliatory conduct aimed at those perceived as professional threats. despite entering the organization with a strong and proven professional background, i have encountered targeted efforts to erode my credibility. the employee in question has engaged in damaging commentary, both privately and publicly, which has undermined confidence in my capabilities among newer staff and compromised my ability to perform my role effectively. persistent rumors and personal attacks have contributed to a significant decline in my mental health. due to the sensitivity of the situation, i am unable to disclose further details without risking my anonymity. coupled with an excessive workload and a lack of institutional support, the ongoing mistreatment has become unsustainable.
