Pros

SBM is a company that values their employees and rewards the hard work they put in. This can be a tough industry to be a part of, but those who are willing to do their job to the best of their abilities will be very happy here. Many improvements have been and are being made to every aspect of the company and I have seen very positive outcomes in the past year that I have been here.

Cons

Most of the bad reviews are from people who come here expecting to work an easy job and are disappointed or mad at the company when it doesn't work out for them. Just like with any other job, you get out what you put into it and working here is not "easy" but definitely rewarding if you are willing to put in effort.

Pros

All the employees on campus are super nice. The company does a lot to show their appreciation of the employees, such as nice facilities, fancy coffee machines, regular employee luncheons, and fun seasonal events. The people here genuinely believe in what they are doing, and the company's mission to improve the lives of their frontline workers is a feel-good mission. My team is especially tight-knit, everyone pulls their weight and has a can-do attitude to get the job done, even when faced with challenging deadlines.

Cons

Like every salaried job, there are days where you have to go the extra mile to meet a deadline.

Pros

This is a tough industry and an organization that expects excellence. You are held to high standards but rewarded well when you meet goals. The people and atmosphere are great! SBM stands out among the competition because of their drive to be the best, in conjunction with their focus on innovation and technology.

Cons

The company is growing and expanding so quickly that sometimes the lack of a program is overlooked. However, in the short time I have been here I have seen a drastic turnaround in the on-boarding and training programs for example, initially being very minimal to now, very robust programs. It would be helpful if these programs were catered to all job types. But based on my experience, I assume that is coming. If you are expecting to come in and perform your job from 9-5 and then go home, this is not the industry for you (whether you are looking at SBM or a competitor).
