Pros

Pay is competitive. Profit sharing.will be missed.

Cons

BPT does not promote within any longer. They would rather a long time employee leave with company knowledge of 17 years than allow that person to be promoted to a new position they are more than capable of filling. They would rather bring someone new in from the outside and have to train that person in corporate culture. Pay raises in this last fiscal were dismal at best. Not fair to punish those that didn't cause the problems and had no work arounds to get work done because of another department.

Pros

Company recognizes individual initiative. Attractive work life balance. Good compensation.

Cons

Spotty and often Poor quality of middle management, who are not well trained. Top down management structure. Tend to hire outside rather than promote from within. Slooooow.

A family company with corporate ambitions

Pros

Friendly atmosphere, collaborative people Nice working environment (Swiss EU HQ in Rolle) Good salary and overall benefits (summer hours, restaurant, gym etc..) International career opportunities (presence in most countries worldwide)

Cons

Not enough training opportunities and overall people development programmes Constant restructuring efforts leading to demotivation and high employee turnover Not a risk taking culture, Need to be more aggressive in the marketplace Giving too much importance to networking for career progression.
