Good benefits. Opportunities for growth for entry level employees.

Cons

Very toxic work environment. VP and Sr. Manager tolerated poor behavior of management employees. Slow to improve technology. Unattainable work/life balance. Very high turn over at all levels of employees.

Linear organization. Respectful culture. Professional co-workers. Some none-profit culture about giving back still remains.

Cons

New CEO fired many individuals which goes against the none-profit nature of the organization. The purpose of a none-profit is to also give back to society in the form of jobs, I am not sure if the new CEO understands that. Operating a none-profit like a for profit organization.

-Great work-life balance -Excellent compensation package -Lots of opportunities for personal education (lunch & learns, SCAN U) -Lots of opportunities for professional growth -Managers are committed to furthering your career -Leadership is really accessible -Great mission -Friendly, capable colleagues -Commitment to diversity and inclusion -Did a great job of making me feel welcomed while onboarding during quarantine -Managing COVID protocols extremely well - supporting employees fully to succeed while working from home

Cons

It's really hard to think of any. I guess the commute could be difficult for those who don't live in Long Beach (once quarantine is over).
