Encourages employee contribution, committed to diversity, continually recognizes employee needs, example: Recharge Days that provide paid-time off to all employees, full time and part time! Continuously supports home/life balance! Promotes exception open communication. Competitive compensation and benefits. An executive management team that leads by example, provides open-door policy and holds monthly All Team meetings that answers questions rather than letting "water-cooler" chatter take the lead in company communications!

SCAN is mission driven to help seniors stay healthy at home. Employees are essential to that goal. Company leaders are proactive in providing support for our well being. None of them are selfish jerks.

Cons

SCAN is proactive in improving our member's health, but behind the curve in shaping technology to do that. Tech company keep trying to serve people's healthcare needs and are mostly failing, but health plan managers like SCAN are one killer app away from losing market share.
