      Pros

      SCAN is very service- and mission-oriented. The people at the top of the company really believe in its mission of keeping seniors healthy and independent, and that sentiment trickles down. They're also very good about promoting internal talent.

      Cons

      While the friendly culture makes for a good work environment, it can also slow things down. This can be frustrating for people who prioritize efficiency. As a non-profit, SCAN is also not quite up to par with its competitors in terms of salary.

      This company really believes in making sure care is provided at the right place, time and cost. The culture is awesome with very intelligent people in senior leadership roles.

      Difficult to grow within the company since career paths for many are stinted by limited positions and titles.
