      Good training, good supervision, nice people, they could treat their temp employee's better.

      Pros

      If you can get hired as a perm employee, they appear to be very good.

      Cons

      Sometimes the egos of the person supervisoring you get in the way. They work their temps for excessive time with out offering them any benefits, like medical insurance, which they would be happy to pay their share of. Other agencies are offering this to their employee's, and they even give paid time off after so many months of employment.

      Flexible with work hours, lots of perks such as earthquake kits, massages, free cups

      Cons

      LOTS of favoritism Job well done always goes unnoticed Speak up is a 'basic principle' however, beware, they retaliate and consider it insubordination towards management.

      Pros

      There are many areas for improvement if one is empowered to affect change. Most of the employees at SCAN are committed to the mission and the organization is highly regarded by its senior members.

      Cons

      The organizational culture encourages consensus decision making which puts timely achievement of goals and deliverables at risk. SCAN is slow to implement changes to enhance workplace productivity and slow to adapt to change. "Speaking up" is one of the five basic principles at SCAN, but there are limited opportunities for employees to share concerns, and propose creative solutions
