Pros

Job security is good here

Cons

Although non-profit, it’s a very demanding place and not a lot of room for employee growth. Management had a lot of operation changes recently without careful thought.

Pros

Free stuff, benefits, not enough diversity

Cons

Micromanagement, not fair with wages and goals setting standards are pointless if you don’t get raised by completing them or taking other job responsibilities

Thank you for your feedback. SCAN is committed to increasing diversity both among its staff and its membership. This year, for example, we specifically reached out to new and diverse communities during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, which in turn led to much of our record-breaking growth. Also, SCAN is proud to have led the way in reducing vaccine disparities among Black and Latinx members and reducing disparities in medication adherence among those groups as well—all of which will translate into better health outcomes. It appears that you’ve left SCAN. We wish you the very best wherever your career path takes you. For current employees, we sincerely hope they’ll raise any concerns like yours with their manager or a member of SCAN’s Human Resources department.
