SCAN has totally and truly embraced the positive workplace mentality. This company has realized that it requires true and total investment in its employees to get top quality for its product deliverance. Open door policies, flexible and understanding leadership, upper level management that challenges the norm and welcomes all staff to identify what could be done better. THIS is how a company should operate. Every single person's word is valued.

Cons

The internal organizational system and policy management is really lacking. It makes it difficult to do day to day functions, taking so much more time than necessary to do any sort of internal company research. The internal platform is outdated, and search results often pull up documents from 5 or more years ago.

Pros

Company is on a major growth and expansion tear. Lots of opportunity and learning. Company has grown revenues by almost $2b in last few years. Lots of innovative efforts—new plan for Gay and Lesbian members. Big push on health equity.

Cons

Lots of growing pains. Some people are excited about the new direction. Others are disappointed that the ovelry relaxed environment that once defined the company is no longer. IT organization is a bit a of joke. A lot of process focus in some areas without a lot of similar regard to outcomes.
