Pros

Corporate environment but still has a "family feel" within and throughout our departments and teams. Our Mission truly guides our annual company goals, and success is measured and shared quarterly with all team members. Advancement opportunities have been plentiful in my almost 10 years here - if you work hard and "lean in," you're appropriately recognized. Other pros: leadership is visible, employee engagement is a priority (and getting even more important with home/hybrid work environment since COVID), there's flexibility with a value of family and work/life balance, and a strong emphasis on fair and generous pay. Annual and semi-annual employee surveys have been a great way to get feedback and create action plans for success.

Cons

Many department still operate on different systems - need to consolidate/streamline which project management and communication tools we should all be using. With nearly 2000 team members, it's difficult when everyone is on different platforms. An overwhelming amount of meetings with respect to time used to be a major issue, but I do feel that in the last year, that has significantly improved. Length of time it takes to retrieve approvals from top-down can sometimes be problematic (ex: new hire decisions).

Pros

I like my team and who I report to We have made a lot of positive changes on the team.

Cons

We suffer because our managers are afraid to speak up on our behalf. It's very tough working in RCS because the top people do not care about us. I am really scared about returning to work and all our managers say is "so are we". I know they try to speak up for us but the upper level leaders do NOT CARE about what the employees think at all. Why can't I stay remote? When are we even returning? Why can't I have a few days working from home? Seriously!!

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear of your concerns, but sincerely appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our protocol for returning to the office is continually evolving and carefully considers a number of important areas, including team member safety, business needs, and space availability. All team members will be provided with a 45-day notice prior to their requested return date. We are also monitoring and adhering to CDC guidelines, and are offering proper resources and training to all team members in preparation for returning to the office. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, we'd be happy to do so. Please reach out to us at hr@scp-health.com
