Working at SCS you will feel good about what you do. Everything we work on makes a real difference to the environment and to workers needing protection across the globe.

Cons

Tendency toward top down management means sometimes decisions affecting many are made for the wrong reasons without considering all the relevant factors.

The company is dedicated to solving environmental problems through the truthful and transparent third party assessment and certification of the environmental advantages and disadvantages of products, services, or processes and systems. It gives employees a sense of mission that is missing in so many other companies.

Cons

Management can be a bit unpredictable, but it is manageable.

Great Colleagues, Awesome Mission

Pros

The office is filled with intelligent, hard working individuals who are using their technical knowledge to provide provide consumers, businesses, and governments with more environmentally sound alternatives. The company is mission-based and it attracts many fantastic people. The work can also be very challenging and innovative! Great bonuses, fantastic benefits.

Cons

Some positions may not offer opportunities for growth. Depending on your experience and background, it may be challenging to move into more senior or technical positions. There are many positions that require an advanced degree and specialization in a field. That being said, many former coordinators have become managers and directors!
