      Pros

      Passionate staff - most are highly intelligent, well-traveled, and ecologically aware. Plenty of events/opportunities to get to know people outside your program, as well as members of the executive team. Lots of opportunities to help shape systems and create new efficiencies. A majority of positions are promotions from within. Awesome site in the Bay Area with nice walking trails, a super-affordable onsite gym, free shuttle to MacArthur BART. Very generous 401k match.

      Cons

      Each team has a different culture. Like any company, the experience varies according to the manager style. Business growth relies on early adopters of sustainability values, requiring frequent adjustments to and forecasting of the market.

      Dream job; nightmare management

      Pros

      Great principals, with a global mission bringing the value of certification to the market. Great employees that have solid technical and professional backgrounds and clear commitment to environmental goals

      Cons

      employees are treated like the adversary, with some questionable policies related to equity and fair practice. management is very personalized due to the founders' personal involvement. High turnover with talent.
