Pros

SCS has done an amazing job creating an engaging and social work environment that takes place fully via Teams. The work itself is interesting and employees can feel good about the contributions they make to the global sustainability movement.

Cons

The only Cons that come to mind are those inherent to any remote experience. However, SCS has and continues to work hard to address these realities, and the benefits to remote work should not be overlooked.

Great place to work and grow

Pros

SCS has been a wonderful organization to work with. The work is meaningful, my coworkers are all highly skilled and compassionate. There is a noticeable emphasis on professional development and opportunities for promotion.

Cons

As with most remote only jobs, there are challenges with feeling isolated. SCS does work to help support the challenges in this dynamic though.

Reconsider working here if you are Black

Good benefits, fully remote, flexibility

Cons

I would seriously contemplate working at SCS if you are black but at the end of the day, do what you have to do. I had an almost identical experience to a black employee that was fired right before they hired me. I was essentially pushed out of the company and fired for reasons that other members on my team had against them as well, but my shortcomings always seemed to be exaggerated. Management acts like they want to help but ultimately only care about the number of audits you can churn in a month. Its like a drive-thru. I had life issues and was inquiring about going on a leave and ironically was fired right after this inquiry.
