I still can’t believe how crazy that place was. My manager acted like some kind of god who expected everyone to worship him, and if you didn’t, you were immediately on his bad side. The environment was so hostile that even normal conversations felt like walking on eggshells. People were constantly pretending to be happy just to survive another day. Every promise leadership made fell apart before it even started, and there was absolutely no work-life balance. I’d go home exhausted, frustrated, and questioning why I stayed as long as I did.
