Pros

NOVUS has an incredible opportunity for growth and experience. I cannot stress this enough. You will be allowed to work with hedge funds and allocators and gain experience in their processes. You will not get this anywhere else. This job takes a strong combination of analytics and interpersonal skills to be successful, and they will work with you and help you grow every step of the way. If you are an analyst within the finance industry who has a strong analytical background then consider Novus, as this job will help you to grow your client interaction skills as well as your data analytics skills. The team is very welcoming and friendly Good work-life balance Excellent support structure

Cons

The data management aspect is not difficult but slightly mundane.

Great learning environment / collaborative team

Pros

It's a fascinating product and a fascinating field. There are a ton of learning opportunities. If you show interest in a topic, the team will help educate and even bring you on a project. People listen to your ideas. The company really cares about individual growth and will help you cater your role to your interests and broader career aspirations. It truly is a good group of people, and I don't say that lightly. The team both supports and challenges you. The work environment is the furthest thing from toxic.

Cons

Being a fintech company, the culture leans a bit closer to finance than tech. It's still nowhere close to the intensity of a financial firm, but definitely not a lax tech environment. This isn't a con for me, as it aligns with my work style and career goals, but I could see how it wouldn't be the best fit for all.
