Pros

The SEI acquisition has opened a lot of doors and brand recognition, while allowing Novus teams to continue operating in an agile way despite the size of SEI overall. There are excellent opportunities for new hires to gain responsibilities and experience quickly. I've seen and experienced encouraging mobility for employees into leadership or other departments.

Cons

Management has responded to feedback about workloads for certain teams by opening up quite a few roles for hiring. Once these are filled teams should have more freedom to work on strategic rather than tactical work.

Pros

Novus is a fantastic place to start one’s career, the exposure one gets by working with cutting edge technology on intellectually stimulating problems is second to none especially if you have an interest and passion for finance and alternative investments

Cons

Downside of being in a small firm is the paucity of a good work life balance
