Cons

Recently, scholars were used for a recruitment video. The video was shot during the pandemic in a closed apartment, with no masks visible during the shooting. Not only did this put ALL scholars who participated (and their families) at risk, but one of those scholars is at particular risk due to previous health concerns that are widely known within the organization. This is an egregious and careless oversight on the part of everyone involved. What possible benefit outweighs the risk of a young person's health? What precautions could anyone have taken to guarantee zero risk? The answer to both is "none".

If you're an attractive woman, who can be unaffected by creepy comments and advances from the only males running the ship, you have a decent shot at getting a raise and promotion eventually.

Cons

legend has it that internal surveys on improving employee satisfaction results in removing all those employees and replacing them with new ones so that the remaining ones are overworked and eventually leave or booted, regardless of how efficient and dedicated those people were. This saves the company a lot of money as why pay for raises, when one can low-ball new hires? "People first" is truly just used as good marketing material and not taken seriously.
