Pros

I have worked here for a few years now and there are some great people. Some of my friends don't speak English and it doesn't matter. They help them do the job and try to make it a good place for Hispanics, Filipinos and others. They pay the full cost of my medical insurance. The place has had its ups and downs as it has grown but it seems like they are on the right path in how to treat people. It is an exciting time to be here.

Cons

In the past, some of the managers have been jerks. Most of those are gone but a few still remain. It does seem like they are trying to work with them.

Pros

SK Food Group is a great company and as it grows more positive changes are happening. Overall, our people are amazing through all levels. Not everyone has a positive experience and while unfortunate, a job is also what you make it. To me, SK Food Group is family. When reading other postings keep in mind, it is much easier to complain than compliment about your job.

Cons

There is nothing bad I can say about SK Food Group. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I love it here.

Avoid - Poor Management

Pros

Location made for an easy commute, worked with some really great co-workers. Near good lunch places.

Cons

Upper management was hot headed, lost temper frequently, yelled at employees without researching or learning why failures happened. One day witnessed a upper management position lose it, stormed onto the production floor and started kicking boxes of product around in front of line workers. Because of this unstable management style, middle management would turn on each other to avoid becoming the target of the CEO's wrath.
