Pros

Very good pay, benefits, vacation. Company provide opportunities to move outside of your primary function to get exposure in any area.

Cons

SLB is not steady when oil prices are low. Excellent employees get laid off, mainly higher seniority. You are always at risk of losing your job even if you have the best possible performance reviews. If your manager likes you there are opportunities to grow otherwise you be fired or stuck.
