Pros

Pay is good. Benefits are good. Work with teams of smart international people. Many departments offer good training. Upper management appear to generally run a very good business. Good values.

Cons

Large Company so a fair amount of unnecessary bureaucracy. Industry is very cyclical and since cyclical lay-offs are very deep (to keep the stock price high) don't expect a long career or to be able to retire. Higher paid (= older, more experienced) staff are often the ones to go regardless of how good recent performance reviews are.

Pros

Health Benefits Reasonably priced cafeteria meals Saving the company money the longer I stay here.

Cons

Approaching 4 years with this company and still stuck with base salary and entry level repetitive robot tasks. -no growth and development (this applies due to poor selfish management) -new hires get welcome gifts and packages in front of my face. Where was mine? -no bonus or raise for being a non exempt employee. Overtime has been put to a halt, no words on when it will be brought back. -perks are being cut and seems it will not be brought back when business picks back up. (fitness reimbursement, Metro ridershare costs, coffee creamers, utensils, company lunches, holiday parties) -pointless slp3. Why even bother setting objectives and goals for non exempts when they do not get rewarded for it? Its a good place to work if you are under the wing of a good manager.
