      Cambridge, MA is great!

      Pros

      World class lab facility in Cambridge, MA is really a nice place to work. The lab community is also a major benefit.

      Cons

      Salary is 20-25%% lower than the pharma companies in the area, which makes it hard to compete for housing in a highly competitive market. Research has little profile with exec mgmt, support for research is 30% below what it needs to be.

      Pros

      Paid training, good health, profit sharing, stock options. The pay is good when the oil price is good.

      Cons

      They have a tendancy to try and make engineers with horrible people skills and little to none field time field service managers. This is like the blind leading the sighted. They hold the engineers at such a high level and undervalue the field specialist that keep them out of trouble.

      This company will give you more experience than you could ever imagine. The is no way that you could ever be bored at this job.

      Cons

      If you ever make a mistake, there is no help for you. Management will blame you for everything and insist that you were not following the standards. There is constant confusion at every level.
