First class energy consulting

Pros

SBC is much like any other consulting firm, however, if you are concentrated on energy it provides much more robust, technical opportunities than the other firms. Ability to pull in engineers or big data from SLB really makes a huge difference on the projects you work on and the capabilities you can provide

Cons

A bit smaller than other consulting firms, fees are high- equivalent to McKinsey, Bain, BCG.... can be a bit harder to pitch. Practice is growing exponentially, hard to keep sufficient staffing on projects

Pros

The opportunity to grow within the company is completely in your hands. I love the upward mobility.

Cons

financial policies in place keep the salaries in a non-competitive light when dealing with I.T. New leadership put in place that seemed to lack direction is also a problem for I.T.
