      Pros

      technical excellence and training are at your fingertips. people are open minded and there is a true community culture, sharing best practices worldwide. LEAN principles. borderless careers. objectives-oriented plans. yearly open performance reviews and incentives. the higher you go on the hierarchy, the smarter the people get - promise!

      Cons

      HR is the achille's heel: new positions are given with no warning, although all the time to adapt needed is provided. there is no transparency about salaries across the company, HR is usually obscure to reach frank information about your status.

      SLB overwork its employees

      Pros

      SLB provide a very good training for entry level employees. A clear path for growing with clear objectives is exposed to their employees right from the beginning when you join the company.

      Cons

      The work-life balance does not exist. Sometime you work more than 24 hours non stop without anybody replacing you and you find yourself sleeping while doing the job. Management just want to cover their back and don't want to take their part of the responsability when there is an issue.
