Pros

Good training for the first 3 years of your career. get to meet a lot of good intelligent people who somehow were conned as well into joining this company.

Cons

Most SLB locations are in horrible or remote places with no work life balance, they are also not fair with their transfer policy and they keep their good performing employees at bad locations and put the weaker employees on the transfer list. Therefore they are the ones who end up at the "nicer location's" . There's absolutely almost no way to raise a family while working for this company as you are pretty much expected to work 24/7 and you will be on call this is especially true of you are and Engineer and not if you are an operator or specialist. you will also travel a lot and no matter how good you do they always set your objective higher the following year to make you fail and wont be eligible for the full bonus they lure you with which if you did not receive you would make more money working somewhere else with way less stress.
