Pros

Pretty good hourly pay, interesting jobs, increasing your network, live where you want.

Cons

Not much growth opportunity, living on the road, very limited development and training, effected too much by Federal situations.

Pros

Colleagues are nice, smart people, ethical. The number 1 proposal shop. You'll learn a lot here and work with the best.

Cons

Ruthless, if you are no longer needed you are kicked out. I've seen it happen many times. Benefits are lacking and have been cut. SM&A is in a lot of debt, and its private equity owner is not happy that it went from a $120M to a $70M company.

Lack of feedback, work sometimes not challenging enough, there could be more of a push to constantly improve
