Pros
They sent managers to a Facility Manager Training that was required. This makes you feel like there is a way to move up at the company and advance.
Cons
The reality of the training is it is very basic and with having so many different areas and setups in the company, the training might not even cover what you are working with(my case). My job had no office for me even though I was a Facility Manager. I was not given the tools needed for the job. Luckily I brought my knowledge with me from my previous job in this industry so I knew what I was doing, but not how SP+ wanted everything done. The company is completely revolved around limiting risk instead of providing excellent customer service. There is no communication between any managers, so when anything goes wrong the blame is sent to the lowest person there. I was working 50-60 hours a week, 6-7 days a week when it was busy and at least 50 hours a normal week. There was never any offer of alleviating being pulled between 3 locations with 40+ employees under me. Then when things go well, you don't hear anything. Things go a little wrong, no advice to help or anything, and then it's always talk of fix it or you lose the location. Most of the times it's things I can't control, or things I suggested needed a change and were shot down.
