Pros

Benefits People Culture Flexibility Work-Life Balance Experience

Cons

Low Pay (Appears to be the weakest in the area) Slow to promote (Promotions occur in steps [A, B, C], each step takes about as long as a full promotion elsewhere). Achieving "above expectations" appears to do nothing. Projects have management/knowledge gaps due to recent exits Lack of new products, lots of legacy system sustainment work

Pros

- Culture is nice, many people are willing to help you learn. Everyone is friendly. - You are welcome to voice your ideas, but you may not be heard for them. - You can take time off whenever you want. - Benefits are good for the area.

Cons

Promotions are few and far between. They are based around three key factors. 1 ) How long you've worked at the company. SRC is not merit based. 2 ) How much company leaders like you. 3 ) Which projects you were placed on. If you were placed on a project receives a lot of funding, you will automatically be more likely to get a promotions. You will likely not get recognition if: 1 ) You are doing company services. 2 ) You do not actively work on a large contract. 3 ) The team you are placed in doesn't care about you. Raises or bonuses happen every year for everyone. But, this is decided for you, and you have no say in it once it has been decided. If you work hard, potentially, you can get a higher raise. However, if a single person says something mildly negative about you, you will not receive it. Compensation does not match industry standards. You will get a better compensation elsewhere. SRC has an identity crisis about the type of company they are.
