      Beaten into the ground like an animal

      Some coworkers are great people to work with.

      Cons

      Senior management treats you like a mule and runs you into the ground. No one actually cares about you as a human being and have no clue what it means to lead a group. Your voice goes unheard and you are reprimanded for speaking up and not being a YES person. No matter how much you kill yourself it's never enough. Pay does not even come close to compensating for what you're expected to do.

      Pros

      It's really hard to come up with anything for this section. Most of the prior reviews list free coffee and water so I will list that as well. Getting paid is the only true benefit.

      Cons

      Truly pathetic company to work for. Managers dress like street bums. It's pretty ironic how it's called a technology company when the technology is some of the most antiquated I've ever worked with. You will be micromanaged to death, overworked, underpaid, and never appreciated. No one working here is happy. Working at SS&C is the worst decision I have made, AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you can. Sprint away from this company, if you have a job interview cancel it!

      Pros

      Casual dress, free parking, small pockets of good people, potential to learn a lot

      Cons

      If you're good at what you do, you won't want to stay long. Overworked (long hours, forced lunch hour) and underpaid is a very common theme. Thankless work environment where employees are not valued or rewarded. A lot of egos and poor management styles from the top down.
