      Pros

      Love working with my direct team and coworkers, who make it liveable with coming in each day. Also a lot of potential for the organization to do much more.

      Cons

      Salary and compensation is said to be market competitive, but 20-30% below competitors in immediate market. Also excessively high turnover in leadership, no long term vision, just putting out fires day-to-day.

      Base schedule is set up well for students (only required to work weekends)

      Cons

      Was a common occurrence for the schedule to be posted within a week or two of the date. Because of this, changes were always being made and the schedule always looked like a scratched out mess. It also created a situation where it was not uncommon to receive several requests a week to fill a shift.

      Typical Call Center Position

      Pros

      Great health benefits, PTO and events/giveaways. We also had opportunities to have fun by participating in department events.

      Cons

      It is a typical call center that doesn't do typical things. The morale is low because the physician's in the organization don't want the call center to even exist. They'd rather all things concerning their patients at their office. Doctors are beginning to leave SSM and branch out because no one supports the call center; it was rolled out as a pilot program that unfortunately was not setup to succeed from the onset.
