Pros

+ Benefits are really good + Lots of opportunities to grow within the profession + A good sense of community and belonging + The support systems are really nice, including the discounts and coupons to various places

Cons

- Supervisors can make departmental changes for the worse (e.g., constantly updating PTO and asking off procedures to the point where it's not even worth it to ask off) - Higher-ups are constantly on your back for overtime even when business dictates you stay late so your coworkers and patients don't suffer - You have to use PTO for holidays and sick days. I've never worked a place that requires you to put in your own paid time off to cover holidays that you aren't scheduled to work. I can't even go to the doctor's office if I'm scheduled to work without receiving either a Tardy or an Absence, and I work normal business hours (40/wk, M-F, 8-4:30 or 9-5:30) - Patients (including employees of SSM under your care) can be exceptionally cruel even when it's circumstances beyond your control

Pros

Not much when you are treated and talked about by co-workers and managers are a part of. Targeted and pets go untouched, Make same small errors which are mentioned in review as to be expected with this type of work yet they go without write up, etc. co-workers are tattle tales, says and Skype each other about other co-workers and managers do as well. Nothing Pro to say

Cons

HR, Headquarters all are aware of toxic environmental abuse to some. Management is the big problem, gossiping and closed door discussions with pets. Ignores a targeted employee does not offer solutions rather brags about how smart she is and education and her opinion of you which nentally are cruel, negative. HR is awful, acting as support, HA. It goes on and on and on,

Pros

Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Corporate Office leadership exemplifies systematic racism. I can count on one hand the number of African Americans that they hire in the main Corporate Office. There were about 5 when I was there and they've all since left. Leadership treats African Americans as if they are dumb and stupid and incapable of learning. They are treated unprofessionally and rude. They treat them as if they are inferior. They let their clicks get by and do anything and get by with things and sweep things under the rug.
