Pros

Some nurses work together as a team on the unit.

Cons

There is a "Click" within SSM. Team leaders/Managers do not take complaints seriously and blow them off.. If you make waves on your unit- then you are the focus in a negative manner where you want to leave the unit. The Team leaders do not treat everyone fairly and dislike ( its evident) some nurses. This causes low moral. Also you are not recognized by the Team leader and or manager for patient's reporting your exceptional care. But you are recognized for mistakes and even threatened with punitive actions. . I really do not like the politics at SSM.

We regret to hear that a Dean Health Plan employee has had a negative experience while in our employ. As with any call center, structure around individual metrics, schedules and breaks is essential in ensuring members have a consistently excellent experience when they call. We encourage our employees to share any concerns they have with their supervisor or department management.
