Pros

some of the coworkers are very nice people. too nice, as they put up with being understaffed and overworked and working far outside of their hired job responsibilities

Cons

Underpaid, Forced to work on areas of the system you are not trained or certified in, or hired to work on. Why are they sending debt collectors after old employees? I was hired under my asking salary, told I would be promoted next year and make the amount I asked for. I was promoted and made 20$ more per pay period. HR says they can't negotiate.

Pros

Since it’s a New hospital, there is new tech.

Cons

Management micromanages and has no intentions on changing bad habits. All departments are short staffed. I have to fight to get all my patients food sometimes, and even then it comes up cold. Some patients don’t get to eat. They refuse to agree on union contract and want to prevent sister hospitals from unionizing. Pay is no longer competitive. Turnover is high.

Pros

I love my job and the people I work with, including my direct managers. Our team is truly that and we all work together towards the same goal of helping our colleagues navigate Epic Systems.

Cons

My pay is far below market rate and the only compensation we have to look forward to is a yearly percentage raise that is pretty much across the board. I feel that I put forth my full efforts and I should have a pay rate that reflects that as well.
