Pros

Work one weekend a month

Cons

Being a Lpn in a RN floor where everyone doesn’t want you there. One of three Lpns me being older and 30 yrs being a nurse. Training and orientation is over the top with LMS being needed with no real orientation but you training yourself. No refreshers for IV pumps for someone who’s been out of the hospital for awhile. Exspect orientees to know their way of doing things. If floor staff dislikes the managers anyone that manager hires is disreguarded and talked about and shunned. That I care for you attitude maybe for the nuns but not management. Lpn don’t apply they lowball your salary mine I lost 10.00 coming to them. I feel was hired due to possible striking issues in the company. Parking also is terrible.

Pros

I think it is nice to have other healthcare professionals readily available to help you out when needed. The pay is decent too.

Cons

There seems to be some toxic type people in management positions which negatively impacts the company and workplace happiness.
