      Pros

      - fair pay, PTO, and benefits - mostly friendly co workers - environment that encourages learning - somewhat enjoyable/ meaningful work as a secretary

      Cons

      I started my job during college when I was only interested in a part time opportunity as a secretary. After graduating with an undergraduate business degree I've found it VERY difficult to find advancement within the organization. Unfortunately I may need to search outside of the company for advancement opportunities

      Pay is decent yet respect and appreciation are minimal

      Benefits are disappearing......and SSM has a pattern of employing poor managers and then backing them when patients and/or employees complain.

      Pros

      SSM cares about employees and puts its Mission and Valued above all else. They offer a lot of opportunities from growth in the business segments and take emplayer suggestions seriously.

      Cons

      The company is very traditional - almost to a fault. In order to be successful, I feel like the company needs to be more innovative, but they are too risk averse.
