- Decent, yet restrictive benefits - Hardworking staff and community

Cons

- Below average pay - Toxic workplace culture, lots of workplace violence - Insufficient staffing for safe patient care - A culture of nepotism and hostility amongst management - Lack of concern for staff safety and retention - Antiquated hospital policies and rude physician staff. - Patient outcomes secondary to profit generation - Regular mass exoduses of bedside staff, entire 30+ bed floors with <10 core staff members -No union or workforce representation, attempts to unionize are treated with hostility

Coworkers, and my providers and pharmacy are in the building.

Cons

Administration sucks, but for what I see not on every floor, in mine it does and makes my job miserable ( Med-Surg). Turn over ratio is too high... I wonder why?
