Pros
I love being able to sit with the patients and get exposure to the hospital setting as well as see nurses work first-hand. This will be valuable when I enter nursing school.
Cons
It's difficult to acclimate to a hospital environment when you first start. I also don't care for the phone system that requires you to schedule yourself over the phone versus online. You also have to call to see if you are going to be working, which can be burdensome as it can change at any time in the two hours up until the start of your shift. However, they are very kind and helpful when you ask questions of them.
