Pros

Flexible for me as a student, very flexible for me as I moved around once/twice per year. They moved me from different train stations from time to time between different units.

Cons

Very badly paid for what you do, very stressful position. Very bad quality of what they sell which then reflects on customers attitudes towards staff which is very bad and stressful to deal with, especially in such fast paced work environments like train stations.

Some nice people work there, despite themselves, but those with skills and/or self-respect don't tend to stay long.

Cons

Poor pay, antiquated technology, ignorant and unpersonable upper management. I was based in the Euston head office. Seeing how stressed the staff in their nearby retail outlets were, and knowing how poorly they were payed and treated was depressing. Not a company that I was proud to be associated with. I had a manager three levels above me and less than thirty feet away who never once acknowledged me.
