Pros

Work life balance is reasonable, some experienced hard working long term staff throughout the business trying to add value.

Cons

100% Focus on cost cutting without understanding sustainable long term value creation. Not an inspirational place to work and getting worse. Fear of top level management throughout the business and very political.

None that I can think of, except as an alternative to the dole..

Cons

Far too abrupt when making major decisions, very high expectations in return for very poor pay, bullying from management which often included putting people down in front of the whole workforce. Was offered a full time job athough when I started I was given a contract with only 10 hours on it, which is not full time of course. An outcome of a discaplinary hearing was prejudged and I was threatened with a bad reference as well as loss of holiday pay if I did not resign on request. Be careful, this company buys franchises in travel locations, you may think you are applying to work for Burger King or WH Smith but this company is behind a lot of those places.

Benefits from day 1 Free food for managers and 50 % for employees Large company

Cons

Many managers have no clue what they are doing. Union staff misuse union privileges Sr. Management hardly know what went on here Salary for managers is pitifully LOW. HELLO ,, Sr. Management never get back to address issues. Pay raise is a joke No real training. Employees just are thrown in. Swim or sink.
