Leadership creates a stressful and unhealthy environment

Cons
Senior leadership created a really unhealthy enviroment and it felt almost impossible to actually do your job properly. Staff were constantly expected to do way more then what they were hired for and it was treated like that was just normal. A lot of people seemed burnt out and stressed all the time. Management talked a lot about wanting “feedback” but whenever anyone raised concerns or pushed back, they usually got defensive pretty quickly. Goals and expectations also kept changing depending on the situation which made it really frustrating to work there. I also saw behaviour from the Director of Risk that came across as intimidating and honestly pretty inapproriate at times, especially towards female staff and neurodivergent employees. Most of it was verbal and never written down anywhere, so it made it hard for people to challenge or prove anything. The turnover in the team kind of speaks for itself. There were obviously deeper issues that never really got addressed properly. Overall the experiance affected me pretty badly mentally and I’m still dealing with the impact of it now.
