Pros

Great place to work and treat employees well.

Cons

Too cheap - India or bust - will not hire in the US even when it is absolutely necessary. Company is following the path of cheapest employees - even when proven that US based operations are more successful and needed. Management is too interested in being "MULTI NATIONAL" because it is cheap.

Pros

SSI is a "work hard, play hard" company. They are sensitive to work/life balance and are very generous to the employees. The employees work hard, have great incentives to succeed, and have a good time together. The owner is a great guy, very family oriented, very easy to work for. The VP is awesome.

Cons

Some managers are not managers; well, not good managers. There is a huge disconnect between managers and employees. There is a lack of respect among sales, recruiters and their respective managers. Meetings are way too long and unproductive and threats are issued unnecessarily.

Pros

The on-boarding process was completely painless and timely and the interviewing / placement process was smooth. Organized several "local contractor" social events to encourage interaction.

Cons

This was the first time in my career that overtime COST me money! The 40 hour wage was competitive, but the 41st hour was [1/2] the hourly wage instead of [1.5]. When the client needs 60 hours and your 20 hours of over time are paid at less than you made the first 40, there is something really wrong.
