Pros

Stars gives you a certain amount of money towards continuing education that is for only you and not shared by the department. They send tokens of appreciation to you in the mail. In the beginning of school year, STARS supplies you with student activities and supplies. STARS family is the best employer I have worked with.

Cons

There is no down side.

Pros

### 5-Star Review Working with STARS for the past six years has been an incredibly rewarding experience! As a school-based speech-language pathologist, I’ve always felt valued and supported by this outstanding team. One of the best perks is that STARS covers the cost of licensure and all required certifications, which removes a huge financial burden. Additionally, they ensure I have access to all the materials I need to provide effective therapy—whether that’s assessments, tools, or specialized resources. The company’s responsiveness is truly remarkable. Anytime I’ve had a question or concern, their team has been quick to provide assistance, making me feel supported every step of the way. STARS also goes above and beyond to ensure your placement aligns with your preferences and strengths. With a wide variety of location options, I’ve always been able to find assignments that suit my needs and career goals. I can’t recommend STARS highly enough for SLPs looking for a contract company that genuinely cares about their employees and sets them up for success. It’s been a privilege to be part of this team!

Cons

One potential drawback of working with STARS is that, as a contract employee, you may occasionally be asked to relocate if a district hires a full-time employee to fill your position. However, STARS handles these situations exceptionally well by working closely with you to find a new placement that aligns with your preferences and goals. Their commitment to supporting their employees during transitions makes this challenge much easier to navigate.

Pros

STARS is a great company to work for! They really put their employees first and will advocate for you with any district. They reimburse materials, CEUs, and certifications as well. STARS provides so many perks and benefits that make you feel valued in their company. The compensation is really great too!

Cons

The only con is they don't match 401k.
