Thank you so much for the review! The feedback about pay has been heard, and our leadership team has taken the time in the last two years to benchmark and adjust salaries, including re-grading every position in the organization, twice.

Pros

Very structured. I enjoyed the rigidity.

Cons

Salaries are below regional averages. Raises are even below cost of living increases.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. Twice in the last two years, our HR and leadership team have taken a look at salary ranges, comparing them locally and nationally to similar positions, industries, and organizations and made appropriate adjustments. Our annual raises are tied to performance reviews and vary between 2 and 5% based on performance rating for those who are compensated at 103% or less of their compensation ratio. The Cost of Living adjustments that the federal government calculates have ranged between 0.3 and 2.8% in the last 5 years. This means that unless an employee's performance is rated as needing an action plan and 6 month progress report, the annual merit increases keep pace with or exceed cost of living increases.

Pros

Great place to get your career started in banking. There are some wonderful people who want to help you grow and succeed. Good tuition assistance based on time on job.

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Very difficulty to promote even with great performance and job shadowing. There is no additional perks for in branch staff as to HQ staff.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate the feedback, and are glad you got a great start here. On the pay: we regularly review our salary ranges based on the industry and the local area, and make adjustments to ensure that pay is commesurate with other opportunites. As far as promotions, there are unfortunately not enough leadership positions to quickly promote every employee who is a great candidate, which is why we invest so heavily in both internal development and tuition assistance. We try to ensure that when opportunities do come up internal candidates are in the best possible position. Thank you again for taking the time to leave us this review!
