Pros

Efficient interactions with central office. Prompt responses to questions or issues. Co-workers are great to work with (worksite environment is very positive)

Cons

There seems to be a fairly high turnover in central office (minimal impact in the field, however). Contract status is somewhat unstable (just due to the nature of the govt contracting system) i.e. cuts may be just around the corner, and employees can leave/or be released with 30 days notice.

Pros

Good view of the Potomac River and the Capitol

Cons

The business provides staffing to the federal government, but the government would be better off finding their own staff because the recruiting staff at STG International is entry level at best. Contract positions go unfilled which strains those persons trying to perform as per the contract requirements. The company is all about promotion of the company brand instead of performance. Core competency is limited. The company hires low level inexperienced personnel to fill executive level positions. There is no mentor to guide them. The company is all talk, all show, all flash, and no substance.

A waste of two years of hard work.

Pros

I don't have anything to say.

Cons

Overhead staff are paid minimally and given minimal salary increases. Management does not communicate with staff. Training is never offered and education assistance is so minimal it wouldn't pay for any classes. There are no concrete job descriptions and no methods to determine how to advance in career growth. Evaluations were based on subjective criteria.
