Will take advantage of you if you let them.

Pros

If you have the right management in your department you can move up relatively quickly. Unfortunately there are only one or two departments in the entire company where this is possible and you the management turnover is so high you will not know if you are in the right department until you are all ready working there.

Cons

They will overwork you if you let them. 1 out of every ten people who work at headquarters are underpaid and doing the job of 2 and sometimes 3 people. Everyone is frustrated and the internal departments do not work well together. The company is extremely disorganized they have very few set processes and make everything up as they go along. The company is extremely cheap. If you put a binder on the supply list you will literally get a call from the controller asking for justification for the expense (not exaggerating).

Pros

Continuing Education money and a flexible schedule.

Cons

This company is very unorganized and is not familiar with the fitness profession, yet hires fitness professionals. This company gave 25% pay cuts to employees with 2 days notice because they merged with another company that needed to get part of their profits. So they took away from their employees. They did not consider experience, education, performance when reducing pay. Everyone was put on the same level. Very unprofessional about it and showed no remorse or tried to keep their good employees. I would not reccomend working for STG if you're an experienced and passionate fitness professional.
