Good at data, bad at IT

Pros

Small, family like environment for data employees, nice offices, dedicated clients.

Cons

No skilled management for IT, no IT understanding from upper management, lots of pressure to perform with little understanding on any level about how software development process works. Unwilling to work with developers to better understand processes. Reliant on consultants who don't understand tech any better than management.

Location and a few nice perks for employees. 401K match is good!

Cons

Pay is below Nashville market. Behind in technology and too many meetings/ committees trying to come up with new processes. No career path for employees in an already top heavy environment.
