Majority of C level management do not care about the employees, the workload or our wages! Expectations are way beyond doable in a 40 hour work week.

The job is easy & fun, you learn a lot about mental health, most of the nurses are wonderful people, HR is great, & they work with your schedule as much as they can.

Cons

They don’t get rid of the ones they need to. They hire anyone & wonder why things aren’t going well. Staffing isn’t always great, but that’s because people don’t want to work with people who don’t do their job! Some people use excessive force & others false document everything they do. The nurses expect way too much from MHTs, but their load is heavy as well. There’s a lot that needs to be ironed out, starting with a handful of people that need to be let go.
