Everything from pay to culture and management. They were well known to pay below all other companies their size, and management would bring in piddly treats to offset low income. The Management is divisive, controlling, and micromanaging. Would often bring up inappropriate work topics and chastise you for not believing what they believe. Would hold meetings with the entire company and tell you who to vote for because it benefits upper management. Would constantly brag about having women at the top just because it benefitted them on paper, but these women have no real say and are grossly underpaid to their male counterparts. I could write a novel, but you couldn't pay me enough to go back there.

If you enjoy drama, a hostile work environment, and working for a narcissistic VP then SWBC is the company for you. I spent nearly 3 years working for SWBC and was fired because I asked for a raise. So, whatever you do- don't ask for a cost of living raise because they will fire you. Aside from the hostile work environment, they offer mediocre benefits and although they claim to offer a good work life balance this couldn't be further from the truth. If you are considering this company I urge you to look else where. I found a new job paying 20k more than they pay doing the same thing and 100% remote.
