Depending on the team you are on, people who you work with are usually very nice. Opportunities for Flex Time is positive
Cons
Management and the executives are not great. They provide little direction on what is expected and usually decide to change every 6 months by ordering reorg after reorg, like they are the hottest new trend. The culture and morale is low. Not a positive work environment and can make you feel not appreciated or fulfilled. Management believe if they force this “new strategy” into every conversation, it will solve the problem apparently. The problem is much deeper than that… Once you get settled (IF that even happens) they will toss it all up again and change whatever you were doing. We spend more time here talking about “strategy”, what jobs should sit where and “what should be done” that nothing gets done. Most managers are promoted if they are in the good graces of the top leaders. If you aren’t, you probably will be pushed out or your life will be made very miserable and you will not go anywhere higher.
